The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) visited Lumut Naval Shipyard (LUNAS) on 11 December 2024 to observe the progress of the refit program on KM LANGKAWI. Among the MMEA representatives present were the Pahang MMEA Director, First Admiral (M) Haji Mazlan bin Mat Rejab, the Commanding Officer of KM LANGKAWI, Commander (M) Eizanizam bin Muhammad Eng, and other delegates.

During the visit, the MMEA team engaged with Head of LUNAS Shiprepair, Tuan Syed Ahyattudin Shid Idris and KM LANGKAWI’s Project Manager, Muhammad Afzali Ab Manab to discuss the ongoing developments and ensure the project remains on track. This collaborative effort reflects LUNAS’s unwavering commitment to delivering excellence in maritime engineering and support services.
