Our Capabilities

LUNAS stands at the forefront of maritime innovation and execution, with the capacity to undertake a wide array of shipbuilding and maintenance projects simultaneously.

On Rail

(for big ships)

We can accommodate up to 8 large vessels, providing comprehensive services from structural build-up to outfitting.

On Hard Ground/Apron

(for small ships)

Our facilities include spaces for 5 smaller vessels, allowing for specialized attention to detail and precision work.

Floating Capacity

We are equipped to service 7 vessels afloat, ensuring continuous maintenance and repair operations without the need for dry docking. Furthermore, LUNAS boasts an extensive 900-meter mooring setup designed for afloat work, which includes:

Floating Berth (Pontoon Jetty):

With a water depth of 7 meters stretching 400 meters on the outer and 5 meters deep across 300 meters on the inner, facilitating accessible and safe mooring for various ship sizes.

Static Berth Quay 1:

Our facilities are rounded off with a 10-meter-deep water berth that extends 200 meters, catering to static works for substantial maritime craft.

Lumut Naval Shipyard's strategic development includes a 4500T Synchrolift, designed to support the national navy and our international clients. With top-tier security measures and environmental management practices, we not only ensure the safety and security of our operations but also pledge to maintain resource efficiency in line with global standards.

Equipment and Facilities

LUNAS is fully capable with all necessary infrastructure, equipment, and facilities to undertake modern Naval & Commercial Shipbuilding & MRO operations. Our state-of-the-art facilities encompasses a broad range of naval engineering tasks. We possess considerable lifting and handling capabilities, featuring gantry cranes and mobile cranes that ensure the efficient movement of large structures and components within our facilities.
