The Minister of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives of Malaysia, YB Ewon Benedick, and his delegation paid a visit to LUNAS Langkawi Sdn Bhd (LLS) on 15th August 2024. They were accompanied by the Chairman of the Malaysian Cooperative Commission, Lieutenant General (Retired) Dato’ Ahmad Norehan, as well as representatives from the CEOs of SME Bank and Bank Rakyat, along with several officers from the Ministry.

During the visit, Salwa Abu Bakar, the head of LUNAS Langkawi, guided the delegation on a detailed tour of the shipyard. The delegation had the opportunity to thoroughly inspect the shipyard’s facilities. This visit showcased LLS’s contributions to Malaysia’s maritime industry and strengthened the relationship between LLS and key stakeholders in the government and financial institutions.
