Lumut Naval Shipyard (LUNAS) hosted the second Coalition of Defence Industry Malaysia (CDIM) workshop at MOF Inc Tower on the 3rd of September. This important event was led by a distinguished Pro Tem Committee, spearheaded by Dato’ Nonee Ashirin Dato’ Mohd Radzi and Dato’ Edron Ahmad as the Pro Tem Chairmans, and participated by numerous local defence companies, including but not limited to those in land, naval, and aerospace platforms.

The CDIM workshop was pivotal in advancing the Coalition’s mission to advocate for policies and regulations that enhance Malaysia’s defence sector, while protecting and securing the ecosystem of local defence industry players. By focusing on creating a sustainable association, the workshop aimed to build a lasting structure that strengthens Malaysia’s position as a leading defence industry hub in Southeast Asia.
