From the 29th to the 30th of June 2024, The Seafarers and Lighthouse Carnival 2024 was held at Straits Quay Marina, Penang. Organised by Jabatan Laut Malaysia (JLM) under the stewardship of YB Anthony Loke Siew Fook, Minister of Transport, focusing on the themes of “Safety Tips at Sea” and “Navigating the Future: Safety First”. The carnival proved to be a remarkable event, drawing 2,000 visitors.

Lumut Naval Shipyard Sdn Bhd (LUNAS) was honoured to participate as a distinguished exhibitor, represented by Mr. Azhan Radiman and Ts. Musyrif Ashadi from Corporate Strategy and Business Development (CSBD) unit alongside Mr. Radin Munawar representing LUNAS Langkawi Shipyard. They took pride in showcasing LUNAS’s initiatives and engaging with a diverse audience, demonstrating LUNAS’s commitment to delivering excellence in the maritime industry.

The event featured a total of 46 booths from various government and private agencies, marking it as a significant gathering in the maritime calendar. LUNAS expresses gratitude to the JLM for the opportunity to participate alongside industry leaders. LUNAS also values all visitors who supported and engaged with LUNAS’s booth, contributing to the event’s success and fostering meaningful connections within the community.
