Surau Diri Jumaat Nurul Iman of Lumut Naval Shipyard Sdn Bhd (LUNAS) transformed into a beacon of unity and generosity, hosting an Iftar event during the blessed month of Ramadan. We were honored to welcome distinguished guests Dato’ Andri Aidham Dato’ Ahmad Badri, our newly appointed Board of Director; First Admiral Ir Ts Franklin Jeyasekhar Joseph, LCS Project Director of the RMN; and Cdr Hassan Helmi bin Ab Ghani, Assistant Marsyal Provos Protela RMN. Their presence added immense value and warmth to our gathering.

The evening of April 1st, 2024 commenced with a heartfelt Tahlil recitation, setting the tone for a spiritually uplifting experience before breaking fast, followed by Maghrib prayers. A highlight of the event was the speech from our CEO, Ir Azhar Jumaat, articulated company’s commitment to community service and the true essence of Ramadan. The spirit of giving was palpable as LUNAS extended cash donations to Pertubuhan Kebajikan Raudhah Islam Malaysia (PKRIM), Masjid An-Nur Pangkalan TLDM, Sekolah Menengah Agama Ta’lim Batu Kurau, Surau Al-Falah Taman Keris Lekir, and further supported the Persatuan Veteran ATM Perak with the donation of 4 wheelchairs. The night continued with the observance of Isyak and Taraweeh prayers.

We are deeply grateful for everyone’s participation and the opportunity to share this blessed occasion. It’s a testament to our collective spirit of giving, compassion, and community engagement. May all our deeds in this month of Ramadan be accepted.
