Lumut Naval Shipyard (LUNAS) welcomed a courtesy visit from ASELSAN at its corporate office on 24th September 2024. LUNAS’s Chief Executive Officer, Ir. Azhar Jumaat, and Head of Corporate Strategy and Business Development, Ir. Muhammad Hanif Muhammad, greeted the delegation, which included Özgür Taylan Sari, Vice President of Business Development and Marketing; Aykut Sahin, Naval Systems Program Director; and Suat Ekmen, Regional Manager for Asia Pacific.

Discussions centered around the long term collaboration between LUNAS and ASELSAN on the Royal Malaysian Navy’s Patrol Vessel (PV) Modernisation program, highlighting both parties’ dedication to advancing naval technology and capabilities. The meeting also explored opportunities for future projects, reflecting Government to Government (G2G) initiatives in a shared vision for innovation and growth in the defense sector.
